10x10'' Hand Painted Giclee print of my illustration 'Adornment Corset'
 
My Interior works place surreal representations of human presence, sensation and thought within my illustrated settings by way of hand painted colourwork. 
Giclees are the best way to guarantee accurate and consistent quality. Our excellent print master Mark uses an Ultrachrome HDR ink set consisting of 11 seperate colours. This allows him to achieve not only a highly accurate match to the original colour and detail of a work, capturing every fine gesture and mark made by an artist, but colour and depth of tone which is resistant to fading for up to 100 years+. We also have our works framed with UV-protective glass by a trusted local framer.
NOTE - Please be aware we prioritise having our high quality framing fresh & in pristine condition, we therefore we don't leave them or the artworks stood in sunlight / at risk of getting damaged in storage, we order frames once pieces have been purchased and there is a production and delivery time of 2-4 weeks.

ABOUT THE PIECE
'Adornment Corset' looks at the catch 22 women often deal with when considering how to present themselves to the world. Many women deal with great physical pain and often face (and find themselves fighting against) neglect in improving our quality of life. We are even taught that pain, and inded extreme pain for many women is 'normal' it is also argued that it's apparent normality excuses neglecting to provide support or improvement of quality of life regarding that pain via appropriate research in to root causes. To press home this disregard, women find themselves targeted and further neglected, on the basis that if we either choose to present ourselves well despite our pain, we are accused of 'looking healthy' therefore we must BE healthy... but or if we ask the world to look at how ill we can look when we do not hide it,
