Thank you for visiting this little space 

In September 2021 many of us endured the sudden loss of our friend Owen to the invisible enemy that is suicide.

This piece has been created to raise funds for the charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) in his name.

Doing this without Owen to turn to for advice was a hard irony that made it very real. I paused so many times to message him, only to be struck by the emptiness of the space he no longer occupies. 

The sense of the suffering that might have been healed & the inability to undo what has been done is what C.A.L.M work toward preventing & they do this by normalising the huge spectrum of emotion men feel & surrounding that with positivity.

It is a mans strength to feel, not his weakness & Owen certainly taught us the strength in being passionate about whatever brings us joy & that is how I will remember him. I've placed a track he wrote above, please feel free to just listen & remember a loved one, we hope it brings you comfort x

Owens family requested donations to charities which help this cause & so every sale of this little poster print donates 50% of all profits to C.A.L.M & thus helps to keep our loved ones smiling.
